Hello

I am looking to hire a WGA Support for one of the public sector client. Below is the job description of the same.

Contract Length: 7 months

Location: London

Plan ahead but reassess workloads and priorities if situations change or people are facing conflicting demands

Desirable criteria (to include competencies and professional/specialist requirements)

Part of fully qualified accountant.

Experience and knowledge of WGA.

Essential Criteria (to include competencies and professional/specialist requirements)

Experience and knowledge of SAP and Excel (eg pivot tables).

This role has a particularly high profile with external and internal review.

Accuracy and the ability to meet deadlines are key requirements.

Work Involves:

Whole of Government Accounts
Accurately complete the process to agree balances and transactions with other Government organisations by the end of May.
By the end of July prepare the WGA submission. Work through the management checklist provided by and ensure that each item is fully supported with appropriate evidence.
Complete an exercise at the 9 month and year end stages to agree balances and transactions with other Government organisations.
Act as liaison between NAO and the Department on all issues relating to the WGA audit.
Complete all remaining tasks identified by the HMT following the audit of the central Government submission.

Other Work includes
Assisting with the contingent liability survey, setting up grant vendors and other tasks.
