Long View is seeking organized and dynamic Systems Consultants (Tier 3) for our newest branch in Amsterdam, Netherlands who exude integrity and a commitment to be your best. This role will provide support on complex hardware and operating system software. The Amsterdam team members provide after-hours escalation as well as project and change deployment support for North American customers in addition to the local European based customer base.
Tier 3 is synonymous with level 3 support, back-end support, support line 3, high-end support and various other headings denoting expert level troubleshooting and analysis methods. Members of the Tier 3 team are experts in their fields and are responsible for not only assisting both Tier I and Tier II team members, but also with the research and development of solutions to new or unknown issues. The Shared Services Tier 3 team is available to assist with 3rd level incident and problem resolution as well as to assist or drive relevant IT projects.

What You'll Bring
• 10+ years of well-rounded IT experience
• Proven experience as a leader in technical systems and IT consulting
• 5+ years' experience with administration and support of Windows Server based infrastructures
• 5+ years' experience with administration and support of Microsoft Exchange )
• 5+ years' of experience with administration and support with Virtualization technologies (VMWare/Hyper-V)
• 3+ years' experience with administration and support of Lync )
• Proven experience configuring and managing Office 365
• General knowledge and experience with other common technology domains (backup, antivirus, patch management, and Cisco networking)
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively handle stress, change, and uncertainty
• Proficiency in documentation methods and technical writing using Word and Excel. Visio experience is also preferred
• Ability to plan and produce effective documentation, solution proposals, implementation plans, problem resolution and incident workarounds
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and research abilities
• Aptitude to take existing processes, procedures and documentation and improve on them (or create new ones)
• Exceptional time management, problem solving and organization skills
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of an organization
• Post-secondary education in an IT related field (MBO/HBO)
• Multilingual communication abilities would be considered an asset
• Previous consulting and project execution background, as well as project management experience would be assets
• Networking administration experience with Cisco routers, firewalls, and switches is an asset
• NetApp and EMC storage technology skills and experience would be an asset
• Various applicable certifications (Microsoft, VMWare, etc.) are preferred
