One of Our Clients is looking for a Quantity Surveyor in Solihull,UK.

Responsibilities:
- To provide assistance, support and guidance on all commercial issues within the Project(s).
- Ensure all commercial decisions are in line with the contract
- Preparation of internal cost/value reports (PDR's) on a monthly basis to satisfy the requirements of the Project Manager and any other reports which may be required.
- Preparation of Valuations/Applications for Payment on a weekly or monthly basis with full supporting documentation in an efficient and timely manner and in accordance with the contract.
- Preparation of Cost Reports to the Client on a regular basis with full supporting documentation.
- Administration of subcontractor/supplier accounts from the preparation of requisitions, monitoring and authorisation of subcontract payments through to agreement of final accounts.
- Communicate and influence contractor, suppliers and internal stakeholders and promote a professional approach to supply chain activities, with the aim of protecting the company in respect of both commercial and contractual risk
- Negotiate and resolve contract claims/disputes and support senior managers in the resolution of escalated issues
- Attend progress meetings (internal/external) and site visits
- Maintain contract data with a high degree of accuracy to support robust Management Information and Reporting
- Provide the Project Team with general guidance and advice about commercial issues
- Support the Supply Chain Management team and embed good commercial practices and expertise on contracts
- To assist in identifying and proactively managing all commercial risks and opportunities and carrying out value engineering exercises.
- To ensure that all Group Procedures are strictly followed
