Description
This role will be working for a major consultancy group on site for a client organisation in the defence sector.
This is a key role and your responsibilities will include;
Security and Information Assurance Management for the end to end life cycle of systems and services agreed in the framework/system accreditation and provision of information to key stakeholders regarding salient risks and issues.
Act as the key point of contact for all security aspects for systems and services.
Co-ordinate, authorise and delegate all security objectives and responsibilities as defined.
Assess, manage and maintain all security related policies and procedures.
Facilitate and manage relevant security working groups and meetings.
Ensure that a suitable incident management process is agreed and implemented.
Inform key stakeholders are informed of new security policies.
Candidates must have;
Current DV Security Clearance,
A management ability and technical awareness within the security and information assurance field.
Broad, expert knowledge of security controls and systems
Experience of conducting compliance audits
Familiarity with the Government security policy framework and information assurance standards.
Demonstrable experience of producing Risk Assessment in a UK government environment
Relevant professional qualifications such as CISSP, ITPC, CLAS.
