Description
An accomplished consultant with relevant information assurance and qualifications is required for work within the security and risk consultancy service of a major UK services provider group.
Your responsibilities will include;
Undertake a lead security role in a complex IT environment involving multiple tasks and improve the client risk position
Gain a detailed understanding of the client security architectures in order to provide consistent IA advice
Conduct in-depth risk assessment involving complex IA scenarios
Conduct compliance activity on service and systems to assess security controls and identify gaps
Assist with the production of policies and procedures to meet UK Government requirements.
Build successful working arrangements with key customers and stakeholders to improve the value of the IA service.
In order to qualify, candidates should have;
Current DV level security clearance
A broad and expert knowledge of security controls and systems
Have solid experience of providing security consultancy and technical IA solutions in a UK Government environment
Show experience in conducting compliance audits against standards such as ISO27001
Be familiar with HMG Security Policy Framework IA standards particularly IAS1 and ITPC.
CLAS membership would be an advantage
