Controls Analyst - 6 months - Welwyn Garden City - Negotiable Daily Rate
A leading Retail client of Pontoon is looking for a Controls Analyst to join their site in Welwyn as part of their large Treasury function.
Job Purpose:- Custodian of the Controls/systems function for Corporate Treasury. Ensuring that systems/processes are fit for purpose.
Key responsibilities will be:
Checking static data changes across all Treasury Systems are appropriate and accompanied by supporting documentation in accordance with policy before recommending them for work level approval.
Overseeing systems workflow in "My Service Desk" and troubleshooting aged open items.
Reviewing invoices from Treasury system vendors and recommending their approval to the Group Treasurer.
Support of adhoc projects For example: Key Financial Controls; Static Data reviews, infrastructure configuration.
Participating in regular meetings with stakeholders: Controls call, TMS vendor call, team meetings .
Experience Required:-
Understanding of concepts of Operational Governance (segregation of duties, systems configuration etc) and how they translate to Treasury systems.
Working in collaboration with a team and acting as an escalation point to trouble shoot issues.
