Description
Some of the requirements include:- Implementation, maintenance and administration of security measures taken, to prevent valuable information stored on computers and transmitted through networks against non-permitted activities
- Monitoring and reviewing access of applications, database management systems and underlying Operating Systems
- Monitor, analyze, document and resolve security breaches and vulnerability issues in a timely and accurate fashion
- Managing ISO27001 processes and security controls within an ISO27001 certified environment.
- Overseeing and implementing the necessary safeguards to protect information assets
- Security Incident and Event Management solution(s)
- Security Awareness solution
- Intrusion Detection/Intrusion Prevention Service
- Vulnerability Management and remediation
- Disaster Recovery Coordinator/Business Continuity Management
- Project Delivery
Experience and Certifications include:
- 3-5 years of relevant working experience in the area of information security
- Significant experience working on complex technical environments and have worked on large network and security projects.
- Familiarity with ISO27001 processes and security controls and experience working within an ISO27001 certified environment.
- Broad hands on knowledge of security tools including
- Authentication systems and schemes
- Firewall solutions / Intrusion Detection/Prevention
- SIEM Tools
- Relevant Third Level education in Information Security and Forensics or a relevant field would be an advantage
- Good knowledge of security principles, models and architectures
