IT Security Analyst - £32K + Benefits - Leeds
Our client a FTSE 100 Company based in Leeds is currently recruiting for a Security Analyst to join their growing team.
As an IT Security Analyst you will be is to delivering Operational Security activities and ensuring business areas are adhering to Security processes.
You will have:
- Experience working in IT security role or similar.
- Understanding/Knowledge of SIEM technologies
- Vulnerability Management experience
- Scheduled and adhoc scanning (including ASV)
- Develop and improve scanning capability
- Experience working closely with IT teams on security issues.
- Firewall rule changes and assurance experience
- Internet Proxy reporting and analysis experience
Key responsibilities:
- Security Intelligence
- Own and maintain the SIEM solution, by constantly improving the value of log data and its analysis
- Firewall
- IDS/IPS
- Anti Malware solutions
- Windows/*nix
- Web Servers
- Bespoke Applications
- Working with clients to assess they client is compliant with contractual security requirements or security best practice.
- Ensuring that proper security processes covering IT, business processes, business operations, physical security, security management and security policies and procedures are implemented and managed within the business.
