Description
Risk Control Specialist - Data Governance wanted for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.Your tasks:
- Lead the implementation of data governance of changes related to the Basel Committee principles for effective risk data aggregation and risk reporting
- Work closely with the global Risk Control Operations team, the programme team, the Risk Strategic Change team and Risk IT to provide business input and steering on key deliverables
- Ensuring the effective implementation and running of data governance bodies within GRC
- Work with other teams to ensure the implementation of a robust data issue management process for GRC
- Provide general management support to the Risk Control Operations team within Switzerland
Your experience/skills:
- Minimum 5 years' experience within a Risk Control function
- Solid understanding of Credit Risk, Market Risk, Treasury Risk and Operational Risk
- Experience in dealing with Data / Data Governance, ideally at a large organization
- Ability to work at both a coordination / project management level and at a more detailed, hands-on level
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
- Fluent English both written and spoken
