My client, based in Basingstoke has a large project of work kicking of in May and we are looking for multiple SAR & RF Engineers for a 3 month contract.I know this is some time away but we are looking to complete interviews and get contracts out for this work in the next 2 weeks.

Rate - £20-25 per hour
Role and Scope
The Contract Engineer will be responsible for performing chargeable testing and measurement within a busy Radio approvals laboratory, they will also be involved in the generation of technical reports.
The Contract Engineer will be capable of working with minimal supervision and have a sound technical background.
Responsibilities
Radio type approval testing on WLAN, Bluetooth, NFC and Cellular products, requiring certification for North American and European markets.
Generation of technical reports, which appropriately detail all aspects of testing
To update the company work monitoring systems with accurate details of testing and overall job status, for each item of work for which the Engineer is responsible
Skills Required
The ideal candidate will have prior experience of product approval, with at least two years' experience within a testing environment, performing tests to ETSI (European) and FCC/IC (North American) radio standards.
A good working knowledge of test equipment, including spectrum analysers and signal generators is essential to this role. A good understanding of radio technologies, including LTE, WLAN, Bluetooth and RFID is also needed.
The production of technical reports forms an integral part of the role, so candidates must have the appropriate written English skills and attention to detail that this requires.
