Mechanical Engineer is required for a contract position in Glasgow.
Sopra Steria Recruitment, working in partnership with Major public-sector clients in UK we are recruiting Mechanical Engineer for 2 Months contract initially for our public sector client.
This role will require candidates with a proven Experience and responsible for:
Essential Experience: -
1)Review, update and/or production of Build Standard Lists (BSLs) and Manufacturing Technical Drawing Packs (MTDPs) for the supply of full technical information for a product or assembly.
2)Management of the addition to DARIUS of up-issued drawings delivered to under PDS contracts.
3)Directing drawing issue checks and low value drawing procurement, to support competitive tendering for spares supply/engineering primarily for DSG Land.
4)Drawing retrieval for a number of PTs within the Land/Maritime environment for various usages other than tendering.
5)Allocating & controlling the issue of Service Drawing Numbers (SDNs), Model Numbers and FV Numbers for the Land and Maritime environment.
6)Updating task management information and replying to customer queries.
7)Ad-hoc duties allocated by line manager when workload fluctuations require flexibility of resources.
