Job Description:
- Experience working as a Cisco Network Support Engineer in Cisco partner channel setup (for example, dealing with Cisco portal and TACC)
- Competence with Cisco Switches and Routers in service provider environment (operator customer)
- Hold Cisco certifications (CCENT or CCNA or CCNP certified)
Your main responsibilities:
- As a Cisco Network Engineer, resolving incidents within contract SLA's.
- Managing vendor fault tickets in accordance with SLA utilising escalations matrices where required.
- Carry out user moves and changes.
- Implementing changes to infrastructure.
- Level 2 and 3 troubleshooting, configuration.
- Routine housekeeping and upgrades.
- Planning and implementing customer changes, based around an ITIL framework.
Your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
- As a Cisco IP Support Engineer, you will have proven technical support track record working in a customer facing environment.
- Building strong relationships with all key clients
- To put forward service improvement ideas so ITL's service is seen to be constantly improving
Certifications required:
- CCENT or CCNA or CCNP certified
