Job Description:

  • Experience working as a Cisco Network Support Engineer in Cisco partner channel setup (for example, dealing with Cisco portal and TACC)
  • Competence with Cisco Switches and Routers in service provider environment (operator customer)
  • Hold Cisco certifications (CCENT or CCNA or CCNP certified)

Your main responsibilities:

  • As a Cisco Network Engineer, resolving incidents within contract SLA's.
  • Managing vendor fault tickets in accordance with SLA utilising escalations matrices where required.
  • Carry out user moves and changes.
  • Implementing changes to infrastructure.
  • Level 2 and 3 troubleshooting, configuration.
  • Routine housekeeping and upgrades.
  • Planning and implementing customer changes, based around an ITIL framework.

Your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

  • As a Cisco IP Support Engineer, you will have proven technical support track record working in a customer facing environment.
  • Building strong relationships with all key clients
  • To put forward service improvement ideas so ITL's service is seen to be constantly improving

Certifications required:

  • CCENT or CCNA or CCNP certified
