Description
Supplier Quality Engineer
The RZ Group is currently working closely with a leading company within the automotive industry, they are looking to recruit a Supplier Quality Engineer on an initial 12 month contract based in Gothenburg, Sweden.
The purpose of this role will be to lead the efforts to develop, implement and maintain supply base strategies from a quality and procurement perspective. You will work closely together with the plant SQA, purchasing and program resources to achieve the program milestones.
Some of the main responsibilities of this role will include:
- Auditing of suppliers
- Development of on site suppliers
- Provide input to keep common vendor system up to date
- Support maintenance of the Supplier Requirements Manual
- Support programs with SQA (APQP/PPAP) activities
Skills and Experience needed for this role include:
- 5 years experience in the automotive industry, ideally 3 of those years within a quality related position.
- Extensive knowledge of advanced quality planning and product validation tools such as APQP, PPAP, VDA6
- Good working knowledge of quality management systems including ISO 9000 and TS16949
- Basic knowledge of VA/VE and TPM
- Must be fluent in English, another language would also be beneficial
- Excellent computer literacy including Microsoft Office, Project and Lotus Notes
