Senior Management Accountant
We are currently recruiting for a national organisation who are in need of a Management Accountant to lead on preparation of year/monthly forecast data and budget variance explanations.
Management Accountant Responsibilities;
- Review, challenge and consolidate project forecasts before submission.
- Provide advice and guidance to the finance team on scrutiny and investment appraisals.
- Advise on preparation of investment Appraisals and business cases and monitoring financial assurance, and keeping to the timetable. #
- Advise on and assist with preparation of financial data for major business case submissions (check, review and challenge)
- Manage the finance team of accounts assistants and accountants; approve material transactions (journals) Support (and deputise for if required) the finance lead in the area
Management Accountant skills;
- Qualified Accountant (Aca, Acca, Cima, Acma )
- Budgeting and Forecasting experience
- Month end reporting experience
- Experience of working within a large national business.
- Advance excel
- Good stakeholder management experience.
