Swaps Support - London - Banking
My client, a top tier and internationally respected bank, is looking for a Swaps Support to join their team in central London. The position is a long term rolling contract and can pay up to £800/day depending on experience.
Role: Swaps Support
Rate: Up to £800/day - dependent on experience
Duration: 6 month rolling - long term role
Location: London, City
The Role:
- Working closely with the traders and sales to quickly and effectively deal with trading issues;
- Working with Middle Office and operations to ensure trades are book correctly;
- Liaising directly with third party vendors and brokers on issues and outages;
- Driving the onboarding of new platforms and managing rollout to traders;
Essential Skills:
- Experience in working directly with traders, in particular a Front Office swaps desk;
- Fixed Income market knowledge, 4+ years of Fixed Income product knowledge, especially in interest rate swaps.
- Solid knowledge of Investment Banking services and business processes;
- Work experience and exposure to Fixed Income applications:
- Execution platforms like ION;
- Execution venues like Tradeweb, Tullets, ICAP, Bloomberg etc;
- Affirmation/Clearing venues like MarkItWire, LCH;
- Back Office applications like Murex).
