Contracts/Procurement specialist to work for a Government Department in Belgium.
*Acquisition and procurement of complex IT systems is a core function
*Performing contract administration tasks including processing changes and amendments, settling claims and termination actions
*Drafting of acquisition strategies,
*Planning
*Drafting Solicitations,
*Contract Terms and Conditions,
*Negotiation of prices and contracts with industry,
*Cost and price analysis,
*Award of contracts,
*Administration of contracts
Skills:
*Expertise and experience in procurement procedures and processes including acquisition strategies, solicitations, contract terms and conditions, negotiations of prices and contracts with Industry, cost and pricing analysis, award and administration of contracts
*Expertise and experience in both systems level acquisition and procurement of COTS Items
*Skill and expertise in the use of automated procurement tools
*Ability to work with senior level personnel.
*Very quick learner with the ability to work autonomously
*Individuals in this category are senior staff that are experts in their discipline with considerable experience
*Individual would be expected to have a University Degree. If such educational level has not been attained, extensive or unique knowledge or experience would be required.
