Description
pUNIX Consultant/Infrastructure Operations Specialist required with expertise in one of the following areas:
AIX/Solaris/Linux/IBMi is required for an 8 month banking sector assignment, located in either Sweden or Denmark.
Tasks for the role will include:
- Server, Patch, Security Baseline, Incident and Change management.
- Develop, install, operate and procedures for server infrastructure.
- Implement, operate and maintain Storage/SAN or IT Infrastructure components.
- Maintain and install backup and recovery tools and procedures.
- Diagnose and fix software, server hardware and software problems.
- Measure and plan server or IT Infrastructure capacity.
- Act as 2/3rd level support for the Server Specialist Support.
- Ensure that IT-Security and Health Check tasks on infrastructure components.
The ideal candidate for the role should have:
- Strong background as a UNIX Consultant/Infrastructure Operations Specialist
- Expertise in 1 of the following areas: Linux, AIX, Solaris or IBMi
- Fluent business level English language skills
