IT Helpdesk Assistant - Dublin, Ireland - (12 Month Contract)

Rate: €100 per day for a period of up to 12 months

An IT Helpdesk Support Assistant is required to join an established government organisation responsible for promoting enterprise & growth based in Dublin, Ireland. The successful candidate will be joining an established IT infrastructure team and will be become the frontline contact point to log technical enquiries received online and over the phone from customers, both internal and external and to delegate the call resolution to members of the IT Support Team.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, experience using Microsoft Office Applications and data input experience.

Job Role
Accepting requests from clients and end-users for IT support and logging requests in database
Delegating the support request to the most appropriate analyst
Tracking request to ensure completion and requestor is kept up to date
Run and circulate weekly Help Desk reports
Manage and stock check IT hardware assets
Ensure compliance with software licensing processes
Manage IT equipment loans and returns
Maintain data quality on Network and Help Desk databases
