Senior Finance Manager - Edinburgh - 3 months
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance manager for our public sector client.
Candidates will be required to provide the lead for business management support, including staff management; business planning and performance management; risk management and financial management to all work stream activity, ensuring all Corporate Policies and Procedures are fully implemented
Essential experience
- Qualified accountant (expert knowledge of financial and accounting procedures and legislation).
- Master's degree or equivalent
- Project management qualification or equivalent experience
- Significant experience in senior management within a large complex organisation
- Extensive depth and breadth of knowledge and experience of both business management or operational management
- In depth knowledge of legal frameworks governing: Health and Safety, Employment Law, Freedom of Information, Data Protection etc
- Senior managerial ability and experience of large scale budget management, financial forecasting and control, staff management and information systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with diplomacy and influencing skills
- Good leadership skills
