Proteus Europe is searching for a Fluent French Portfolio Manager for a 36 Month/3 Year contract based in Wallonia, Belgium.
Beginning of the mission desired Monday, March 16, 2016

Our Client :-
In 2010, the SPW started a huge project to set up a Project Management Office with
mission is to ensure good governance and monitoring of good practices in terms of management
portfolios of IT projects for all branches of the SPW.

A methodology based on PMBOK and a project portfolio management tool to
namely - Planview- have been set up and are operational since March 2011.

The PMO is currently providing operational and strategic monitoring of the implementation and solution
its development and monitoring of the Chief Information Map

Your New role :-

The objective of this mission includes four distinct components:
- Participate in the evolution of tools put in place so that the methodology
- Ensuring continuity and maintenance of the tools implemented and the methodology
- Monitoring the IT Director Plan
- Ensure the operational monitoring of portfolios and projects (+/- 150 projects per year);

The main activities and deliverables are:
- The evolution of the methodology including program management;
- Support the preparation of Project Portfolio Management Committees (CGPP);
- Active participation in the PMO activities;
- Monitoring of IDPs;
- User support;
- The development of tools and systems in place;
- Tracking Sheets Before Project and projects;
- Adequate communication at different levels of the organization;
- Support for prioritization of projects;
- The management of interdependencies between projects;
- The development of new models of documents;
- The promotion of good project management practices.

Your Skills and experience :-

Essential Skills :-
The main skills and experience required for the activities described above are:
- Project Portfolio Management experience (minimum 5 years of experience);
- program management experience;
- Project management experience;
- Experience in monitoring an IT Director Plan (experience in the development and evolution of a PDI is a plus)
- Ability to develop a strategic vision and put in place;
- Experience in adapting and software configuration;
- Knowledge of a project portfolio management tool;
- Knowledge of at least one project management methodology;
- Competence training;
- synthesis and analytical Spirit;
- Editorial Competence;
- Ability to work independently and in a team;
- Good communication;
- Know how to be pragmatic;
- Adaptability;
