Description

My client is currently looking for someone who is able to provide IT Support to their current environment. IT support would include management of vessel IT aspects (linked to ships) and on-going day-to-day office support by providing both software and hardware support to end-users, owning and resolving support incidents through to completion.

Experience supporting IT Vessels is essential and no candidates can be submitted unless they have support IT Vessels before.

Technical requirements are as follows:
  • Sound knowledge and experience in providing support for Microsoft Platforms (Windows 7/8.1 Office ).
  • Experience in supporting Office 365.
  • Proven ability in Active Directory administration, and support.
  • Sound knowledge of network technologies (AD, DNS, DHCP).
  • Exposure to Microsoft Lync including Lync telephony.
  • Some understanding of basic TCP / IP networking.
  • A basic understanding of virtualization technologies.
