Your tasks:
- Lead efforts to identify and integrate toll manufacturing operations cost effectively, meeting required standards for EHS, quality, customer service and costs
- Lead analysis of the toll manufacturing supply chain and deliver solutions regarding lowest landed cost and minimum complexity
- Act as point of technical support for toll manufacturing operations
- Support coordination of procurement and logistics
- Integrate toll manufacturers into supply chain and provide focus on meeting and exceeding customer expectations
Your qualifications
- A Bachelor degree in chemical/biotechnical engineering or chemistry/biochemistry is required; Master of Business Administration or Master of Science is an asset
- Experience in production of probiotics (bacillus)
- In-depth job experience in plant operations and/or supply chain in the chemical industry is required
- Experience in custom manufacturing (microbials, probiotics) and Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification is considered an asset
- Demonstrated abilities in commercial management through leading and collaboration
- A strong business acumen and ability to adapt to a changing environment
- Ability to develop leadership competencies while maintaining current knowledge of corporate business, strategy, goals and objectives
