Financial Crime Change Manager - Scotland
My client, a Financial Services organization based in Edinburgh, are looking for a Financial Crime Change Manager to support the an AML Transformation Programme. As a member of the management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the team are capable of conducting enhanced due diligence on high and very high risk customers and making recommendations to senior management for approval.
Candidates must have previous experience of Financial Crime remediation in addition to:

. Anti Money Laundering
. Anti Bribery
. Financial Crime
. Politically Exposed Persons
. Sanctions
. Proceeds of Crime Act
. Joint Money Laundering Steering Group Guidance
. Knowledge of the Regulatory requirements around Know your Customer and Know your Business
. Oral and Written Communication - Excellent communication skills -explains complex risk terms in everyday language.
. Change Management - Communicates and manages change effectively.
. Organisational Awareness - Knows how to get things done and gain commitment.
. Stakeholder Management -Knows how to influence others to achieve objectives.
You will be responsible for:
Duties include:

. Provide guidance on identifying and assessing Sanctions links and Politically Exposed Persons.
. Ensure the screening of customers and Key Account Parties using industry approved sources have been performed accurately and provide guidance to the team on how to perform searches.
. Performing quality checks to ensure each case meets the requirements set out in the Group AML Policy and Standards.
. Delivering feedback to colleagues on performance/quality.
. Act as escalation point for any issues that may arise, such as difficult stakeholders
. Creation and delivery of MI to internal and external stakeholders on project status
. Manage, develop and motivate the team, appraising individuals to enhance individual and team performance.
. Ability to prioritise workloads and those of others in order to meet key deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of quality.
. Strong stakeholder management/influencing skills to effectively communicate with key stakeholders.
. Act as a liaison point and assist the Senior Manager in the development of relationships with key contacts.
Rate: £450-£600/day
