Requirements
- Carry out privacy audits and escalate recommendations to ensure compliance with relevant legislation
- To develop, maintain and effectively implement the strategic approach to data privacy and governance in accordance with data privacy law, regulations and relevant codes of practice
- Define, implement and monitor compliant data privacy governance solutions locally and in the context of the the group’s European and global structure
- Responsible for developing and implementing internal controls, policies and procedures to ensure the UK business’s compliance with the new General Data Protection Regulation in 2018
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in compliance, data protection, law, etc
- Excellent knowledge of UK and European data privacy laws and regulations
- Provan practical experience within European region on data privacy collection at the senior level
- Experience of leading data privacy improvement initiatives / projects at a corporate level
