Corporate Actions Analyst - Asset Servicing Analyst - Corporate Actions SME.My Client are looking for a Corporate Actions Analyst to join their team on a 12 month contract in Canary Wharf. The London Asset Servicing team is built up of subject matter experts, responsible for accurately and efficiently managing EMEA Corporate Action and Income Events across multiple Global Markets and event types.

Conflict Management and Resolution
Reduce Query volumes and improve AS performance/controls.
Foster a culture of flawless processing delivery, and surpassing internal & external stakeholder expectations.
Ensure the maintenance of all EMEA Voluntary Corporate Actions Deadline Processing controls, procedures, and metrics.
Lead by example to ensure the firms values are maintained across all areas of responsibility.
Maintain and adhere to department control environment (B checks, B control and procedures and execution of regular risk assessments).
Implement new service offerings & control concepts.
Ensure the maintenance of strong and mutually beneficial all dependent stakeholders.
Core Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring all Corporate Action workflow tasks and associated deadlines are met across all EMEA equity and debt instruments
Provide final validation of all CA voluntary market instructions to ensure zero PnL impact to the firm.
Effective breaks management to ensure that all KRI's track against pre-defined standards.
Metrics production, analysis and reporting to ensure effective risk management across all facets of the Corporate Action life cycle.
Chair weekly risk meetings to ensure that all KPI's & KRI's are met in accordance with pre-defined thresholds.
Act as 1st escalation point in relation to any EMEA Voluntary Corporate Actions Deadline Processing issues.
Liaison with internal PB desk/Stock Loan desk/Prop desks
Liaison with external counterparties - Stock Lending, Brokers, Clients
Effective vendor and network management.
Ensure adherence to CASS regulatory standards in terms of client asset identification and segregation.
Talent and performance management - adherence to all firm related people initiatives.
Process improvement initiatives - both tactical and strategic
New product approval process
Principle SME advisor to London Head of Voluntary Corporate Actions
Query facilitation & remediation.
