Role: Resilience Lead and Local Security Management Specialist (LSMS)

Rate: £270.20 per day

Length: 3 Months

Start date: 29/02/16

I am looking for an experience (LSMS) Resilience Lead and Local Security Management Specialist to join a NHS Trust IMMEDIATELY.

This excited opportunity is to join a large NHS Acute Trust in the North West for immediate start to join the Governance department for 3 months.

For this role you MUST have the following
  • Diploma in Health Emergency Planning
  • Recognised NHS Security Management Qualification


As the LSMS you will take operational responsibility for all aspects of the To take operational responsibility for all aspects of NHS Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR) Core Standards and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) for the organisation and offer competent advice on related matters such as Out of Hours emergency arrangements.
  • You will provide technical health and safety advice across a wide range of risks including our corporate support service departments.

  • As the resilience lead and LSMS will act as the key point of contact internally and externally for all emergency planning and business continuity matters, liaising with all external bodies

  • You will undertake the role of LSMS, reviewing, monitoring, and improving the level of security within the Trust and in the implementation, maintaining and monitoring of security policies, standards and procedures in compliance with LSMCS.


You will be responsible for the following portfolios:
  • Emergency planning, specifically; Major Incident Plan, Flu Pandemic, Business Continuity Planning, Heatwave, Flu, Fuel, Strike action and flooding.
  • Quality management system ISO 22301.
  • Specific Delivery of Health Care Standards relating to the CQC.
