Role: Contract Implementation ManagerLocation: covering sites across the UK
Day rate: £400-£450
Duration: 6-12 Months
Contract Start Date: ASAP
A large retail client of mine are currently seeking an Implementation manager to assist with a rework of their global supply chain architecture.
Key Responsibilities
* Defining detailed cutover activities: o Working with all development teams, suppliers, service delivery, environments team, business change etc…
o Build detailed cutover/delivery plan, right down to hourly level
* Working with Service Transition to ensure smooth landing and cutover from non-Production to Production
* Outlining the Governance in the run up to Go Live and during warranty with all Stakeholders i.e. o Defining and agreeing Service Acceptance Criteria and related Stage Gates
o Go/No Go criteria for each stage and management of this o Escalation process right the way up to Exec level throughout the cutover and warranty period
o Chairing all key forums related to the above
* Putting relevant packs together to communicate approach, processes and governance that will be adhered to
* Prioritising project tasks, managing timelines and communicating status to relevant stakeholders and senior management
* Ad hoc duties as requested by Environment Manager
Skills & Experience
* Solid Retail experience on large scale Programmes
* Prior experience in the implementation, service transition or release management arena is a must
* Experience of replacing retail legacy systems
* Excellent communication skills at all levels
* Strong Project Management skills
* Good Microsoft Project and Excel skills
* ITIL experience would be an advantage
* Ability to pay meticulous attention to detail
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
* Adaptable with a positive can-do attitude
* Team player
