Description

This is an opportunity to move up the ladder within the OTC industry within Regulatory Affairs. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced manager to work for one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in world. If you enjoy travelling and adding face to face value this role is suited for you considering you match the main responsibilities for this role are highlighted below:
  • Handling Territory - Europe, Russia & CIS countries and Israel
  • Develop and implement regulatory strategies that enable the delivery of pipeline products
  • Lead regulatory strategy on projects as required, leading to commercialisation through regulatory clearance
  • Communicate regulatory projects and trends clearly within the RA and project/business teams, highlighting any risks or opportunities to the business
  • Translate strategic priorities into meaningful priorities and measureable goals for the RA team
  • Develop the capabilities of RA team members to ensure competency and currency of knowledge to deliver/exceed the RA services needed for the business
  • Deliver efficiencies in the overall regulatory cost, ensuring close connectivity with portfolio, prioritising and focusing on the correct products
  • Interface and represent company interests with relevant government agencies, industry associations and/or other organisations for the purpose of negotiating legislation, regulations and/or guidelines that do not impose excessive or unfair burdens on our industry or products
  • Provide advice and training on regulatory compliance to the regional commercial & non-technical functionsTo qualify for this role you will need to lead, manage and maintain high standards of development within the OTC Regulatory team. This role is one of the biggest globally and is crucial you fit in with the skills and experience which are as follows:


Skills & Experience:

As a minimum you will be educated to BSc level (or equivalent) with a post graduate qualification as a plus. Expertise within regulatory affairs will be required for the role of Regional OTC RA Director, along with an in-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical and regulatory processes. You should hold a proven track record in senior regulatory and leadership roles, with experience in handling crisis management. Experience in an OTC environment would be preferred, with the ability to bring a strategic view to the development of the different OTC products.
