We have an excellent opportunity for a Final Test Engineer for our scientific product client based in Cambridge.
The core purpose of the role is the assembly and test of my clients equipment - all in line with established procedures to agreed deadlines.
Principal Duties
- Undertake assembly, sub-assembly and testing of finally configured systems and accessories consistent with the test area, to the final test procedure within flow line.
- Trouble- shoot malfunctions, carry out modifications and build prototypes as required.
- Undertake testing to the vacuum specification.
- Responsible for the maintenance of test equipment under his/her care.
- To help drive continuous improvement and identify waste in test processes
- Maintain processes and procedures consistent with ISO standards.
- Compliance with Company procedures and controls (ISO 9001 and ISO 14001) as defined.
Thhis position would suit an experienced electro-mechanical test engineer/Assembler. The test process is complex and covers mechanical, electrical, electronic and software testing.
This is an immediate start vacancy offering an hourly rate of £ hours per week with flexi-time)
