Due to our continued success, we are now hiring for a Senior Project Manager to assist our Regulatory and Governance team.

Role Summary:

Working within our Regulatory and Governance practice you will be working to support our client on a wide range of IT related projects. Reporting to our on-site Practice Lead you will be working across Solution Delivery and IT.

Responsibilities:

MHC Project Managers assist our client rolling out business change initiatives across Solution Delivery and IT. You will be working towards strategic objectives and assist in ensuring that projects are delivered to time and budget. You will be expected to provide support to a wide variety of projects and with time take ownership of your own portfolio of projects. You will be working with a wide variety of stakeholders across the business to assist with project and programme delivery.

Key areas of responsibility will include project planning, project delivery, project and programme reporting, Risk and Issue management for both Project and Programme level as well as other associated project tasks.

In addition, you will help to extend the coverage of our project governance tools, such as Insight as well as maintain accurate records and audit trails. You will also ensure that all objectives link into the Corporate plan to de-risk processes, improve efficiency and increase profits through delivering good customer outcomes.

Person Profile:

Successful applicants will have demonstrable experience working within Project or Programme environments in the financial services domain. You will have detailed experience of this regulated environment and be aware of the IT structure within this type of environment as well as compliance needs. You should have experience leading and delivering demanding projects and working with Stakeholders in order to meet business needs. You should have excellent organisational skills and be a confident and concise communicator.

Experience/Exposure:

The following skills are considered essential for the role

  • Proven Project Management experience within Financial Services domain
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance
  • Knowledge of Life, Pension, Wealth and Investment products
  • Familiarity with a variety of IT practices, methodologies and tools
  • Prince 2 accredited
  • Demonstrable experience managing multiple project portfolios
  • Experience dealing with Stakeholders and 3rd party suppliers
