Description

Looking to hire Site Engineers to work on a project for the M3 Smart Motorway in London and the South working on the construction and upgrade of m3 to all lanes running (ALR) inc technology.

The position will suit someone with a civil engineering background, with good highways sector experience. Ideally the candidate would have some experience of other sectors including: Structures, Regeneration & Infrastructure, however these are not essential.

* Essential Criteria CSCS card
* Ideal Background must have worked on a live motorway within the last 12 months

The Successful candidate will;

  • Capable of translating works information into setting out on site.
  • Detailed and accurate setting out using total station surveying equipment.
  • Undertake surveys of new and existing construction.
  • Managing permit to break ground and associated permits for your section of works.
  • Ensure that the works are constructed safely in accordance with the contract drawings, specification, Work Package Plans, Inspection and Test Plans, the programme and Health, Safety & Environmental legislation.
  • Manage site dimensional control ensuring that contractors have the facilities for setting out of the works
  • Prepare and review Work Package Plans ( Risk Assessments, Method Statements)
  • Prepare permits to break ground
