Description
Whilst complying with financial regulations, legislation and procedures the core responsibility of the job holder will be to assist the Finance Director in delivering the full package of financial analysis and reporting. This is a three month contract.
Responsibilities:
*Timely preparation and analysis of accurate IFRS Net Asset Values for client funds, at consolidated and subsidiary levels as appropriate.
*Preparation of interim and annual reporting for client funds (mix of public and private companies, utilising IFRS and UK GAAP).
*Preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts for a suite of entities.
*Being a key point of contact with third party service providers.
*Preparation of reporting for banks, internal committees, external client boards and investors as required.
*Regulatory reporting, tax returns, VAT returns.
*Coaching/developing of trainee team members.
*Financial modelling and forecasting.
*Treasury and cash flow management.
*Provision of analysis to the investments team to assist investment decision-making.
*Further developing accounting policies and processes fit for purpose for the business.
*Project work as required.
About You:
*Qualified Accountant (CA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent)
*Audit experience is preferred
*Relevant small or medium sized company experience.
*Strong personal skills; able to resolve questions and issues with non-finance staff and external stakeholders.
*Strong Excel skills and experience of financial systems.
*Commercially minded and has a good understanding of financial reporting processes.
