OSS/SON Solution ManagerOur client, a global leading telecommunication company are recruiting for a OSS/SON Solution Manager to join their business in the United Kingdom.
Position Title: OSS/SON Solution Manager
Position Type: Contract
Start Date: March 2016
Duration: 6 months rolling

Responsibilities:
- Technical authority on all Management Platforms (OAM) and Self Organising Networks (SON) Products
- Contribute technical knowledge when analysing a customer’s requirement.
- Define the OAM and SON customer solution including its integration into the existing network management infrastructure
- Prepare and present technical product overviews and specific proposal solutions to customers.
- Interface to OAM integration partners on customer and 3rd party side
- Manage the timely delivery of content (input) for bids and proposals as requested
- Responsible for configuring equipment solutions (Bill of Material) that are appropriate for the customer’s specific needs
- Provide technical advice & support to the line manager and / or project managers within a company and externally
Qualification:
- Engineering degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Mathematics, Telecoms or any related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in the Telecoms industry in area of OAM and SON solutions
- Knowledge of Radio Access Networks technology (including 2G/3G/LTE).
- Ready to travel on a short business trips
