For our client, a globally active firm headquartered in CH - Zug, we are looking to staff a Construction Project Contols Specialist to start on 1 Febr, 2016

Job Description
* Carries out project control and financial accounting services in accordance with relevant guidelines, processes, procedures and systems for defined projects.
* Provide project cost structure, work packages, project cost ledger, SAP reconciliation, invoice pre-check and administration
* Provide cost, schedule and progress control and monitor & reconcile variances to the control budgets for time and cost
* Using the Change Order Management process, incorporate changes to the scope, schedule and cost control systems and to the reporting
* Update and monitor risk register and change order log
* Support the preparation of cost estimates and produce accurate and unbiased cost forecasts at a detailed and summary level for the final cost
* Identify early warning of adverse cost, schedule, quality trends and ensure that corrective actions are taken by performing "what-if"-analysis
* Support Project Managers in the production of project reports (monthly, quarterly and at project completion)
* Support the interface between project and local and global policies and guidelines (e.g. procurement, accounting, documentations policies)
* Manage the interfaces between the Project Financial Accountant and the project team/contractors
* Establish and monitor the critical path in the project master and update subproject schedules if necessary
* Monitor the contractors' project controls techniques to ensure that tools are capable of meeting requirements and are properly implemented as outlined in the job specifications and execution procedures

Must Haves
* Accountable to execute the project controls and financial accounting process as defined.
* Manage the interface for project controls activities to all required departments (e.g. Engineering, Finance, Procurement) and to the Architect/Engineers and Construction Contractors
* Coordinate, lead/supervise and monitor the project controls activities of contractors and other involved parties
* Responsible to constructively challenge project managers regarding cost, schedule and quality
* Very good Knowledge of SAP System
* Very good Knowledge of MS Office
* Excellent English Language Skills
* Excellent German Language Skills
