Description
Due to a recent merger my client is now looking for an experienced Group Financial Controller to set up,structure and execute the new financial policy for the group. You will give guidance to the financial management in the operating companies and report to the Group Finance DirectorRole:
Setting up (consolidated) accounts of the holding company including all related aspects, amongst other things the accounting aspects of the merger and relating internal financial and legal restructuring
Setting up and performing the group consolidation with the help of a team, in accordance with UK GAAP
Translating the group policy into financial and administrative policy for the holding company and its operating subsidiaries
Overseeing financial audits
Developing the internal control framework in co-operation with the group
Optimising tax structures (eg reviewing transfer pricing) and ensuring compliance with tax regulations,including through the tax control framework
Compiling and executing treasury policy and managing reporting to banks
Experienced Required:
Chartered Accountant
Top 10 Audit firm background
Manufacturing industry background
Proven experience of accounting in a complex environment
Experience as a Group controller in an international environment
In-deph knowledge and experience of compiling financial reporting, including consolidation
Up to date knowledge UK GAAP and IFRS
Excellent UK Tax knowledge (corporate taxes, payroll taxes and VAT)
This role is an urgent requirement and requires someone to start ASAP
