Description

Electronics Group Leader.

Salary: Competitive.

Immediate Requirement.

Working with colleagues in Europe, the USA and Japan, our multi-disciplinary team of R&D engineers is fully equipped with the latest electronics equipement, to enable them to develop medical workstations and fluid management products & accessories, and industrial Remote Visual Inspection devices.

Therefore, in today's fast moving, ever changing world, we continue to invest in both our people and the latest equipment and processes to remain at the forefront in manufacturing technology.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise, advice and guidance to the engineering group & production team
  • Ensure adequate resource and expertise is provided for projects, production support and quality incident investigations
  • Effectively manage and communicate the activities being undertaken by the group
  • Take responsibility for the project lead role on specific projects
  • Assess viability of new processes and projects
  • Conduct salary reviews and appraisals for group members
  • Conduct health & safety and process risk assessments as required
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of appropriate regulatory standards
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement activities


Your Qualifications:

  • Degree/HNC (or equivalent) in a relevant Engineering discipline
  • Previous experience of leading engineering teams in a related environment
  • Familiarity with engineering processes and technical standards
  • Experience of introducing processes that follow lean principles
  • Experience of process validation
  • Good problem solving & analytical skills
  • Computer & IT literacy, familiarity with Office tools.
  • Good Written & Verbal communication skills
  • Ideal candidate will come from a medical devices background and be familiar with FDA regulations
