Immediate Requirement.
Working with colleagues in Europe, the USA and Japan, our multi-disciplinary team of R&D engineers is fully equipped with the latest electronics equipement, to enable them to develop medical workstations and fluid management products & accessories, and industrial Remote Visual Inspection devices.

Your Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise, advice and guidance to the engineering group & production team
- Ensure adequate resource and expertise is provided for projects, production support and quality incident investigations
- Effectively manage and communicate the activities being undertaken by the group
- Take responsibility for the project lead role on specific projects
- Assess viability of new processes and projects
- Conduct salary reviews and appraisals for group members
- Conduct health & safety and process risk assessments as required
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of appropriate regulatory standards
- Participate in Continuous Improvement activities
Your Qualifications:
- Degree/HNC (or equivalent) in a relevant Engineering discipline
- Previous experience of leading engineering teams in a related environment
- Familiarity with engineering processes and technical standards
- Experience of introducing processes that follow lean principles
- Experience of process validation
- Good problem solving & analytical skills
- Computer & IT literacy, familiarity with Office tools.
- Good Written & Verbal communication skills
- Ideal candidate will come from a medical devices background and be familiar with FDA regulations
