Summary:- Reporting into the Affinity Delivery & Governance Organization (DGO), the Sr. Manager, Business Information & Analysis will serve as a liaison between the Affinity business community and IT organization in order to provide business and technical solutions to the business units.
- They will oversee delivery on the agreements and commitments between the Business Unit(s) and IT from initial requirements to final implementation.
- Support projects, programs and initiatives through planning and execution of business requirements analysis for business and technology solution implementations/integrations, and acceptance testing.
- This individual manages business process redesign and documentation efforts.
- Leads efforts to identify opportunities to automate and standardize business processes and functions.
- They will be responsible for leading the education of the business in the areas of business analysis principles and processes.
- They will possess a deep knowledge of technological trends within the business and technical landscape and will use this knowledge to improve the business results to the Business and IT leadership.
- Leads moderate to complex initiatives.
- Organizes, conducts and facilitates cross-functional team meetings.
- Consults with users and vendors to develop detailed analysis of user requirements (business specification, workflow, reporting requirements).
- Works with business leaders and acts as a liaison between Business Units across Affinity enterprise and Information Technology (IT) as well as other key business partners.
- Accountable to the DGO (Delivery & Governance Organization) and business unit leaders for business requirement and/or analysis integration on project or program implementation.
- Organize and manage the business analyst teams efficiently and cost effectively.
- Regularly communicate with business units to ensure that they are satisfied with the support they are receiving from the business analysts.
- Ensure that team members manage and deliver projects and work products of the highest quality.
- Ensure that team members create and maintain business processes, requirements, and functional specification documentation.
- Proactively work to reduce administrative work and improve efficiency.
- Ensure that documentation is collected, categorized and available to the team for reuse as appropriate in different projects
- Responsible for composing and writing business plans, detailed business specification/requirements for technology related projects, recommendations and reports for presentation to management.
- Lend subject matter expertise to project teams and working groups.
- Assist the delivery program manager(s) with the execution of new regulatory programs and strategic initiatives
- Develops business user test plans and test cases and is responsible for conducting and overseeing user testing for new and enhanced solutions and processes.
- Accountable for user signoff of changes. Monitors implementation and user satisfaction.

- Write and develop business requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 12+ or more years of work experience, including relevant business and IT experience
- 8+ years of experience in Business Analysis or Business Relationship Management roles
- 3+ years of experience leading and managing teams (with executive level exposure)
- Experience with software development delivery methods (Waterfall, Iterative, Agile, etc.) and tools preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills, positive attitude, negotiation, conflict resolution, risk management skills required
- Experienced in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Microsoft Visio
- Mature professional and team player able to get tasks accomplished across teams
- Proven ability to work in a changing and growing environment
- Stellar written and oral communications skills to support engagement with all levels of the business inclusive of executive management
- Experience interfacing with or leading offshore teams
- Must be solution-oriented critical thinker and a creative problem solver
- Need experience on the IT and Business side.
- Understand how to deliver requirements quickly and guide through testing
- Master's Degree preferred (MBA, MIS, MS)
- Direct work experience in financial services and/or insurance industry
