Regulatory Liquidity Reporting Manager - Temporary - Glasgow

We are seeking a temporary Regulatory Liquidity Reporting Manager to join the Liquidity & Funding Controller team within a leading financial services organisation.

We have a temporary opportunity within our regulatory liquidity reporting team for an individual who will lead the delivery of the 5G report - a new, detailed liquidity report required daily by the Federal Reserve Bank. This is a significant opportunity to add real value to the team as we move to daily reporting of this high-profile report to one of our key global regulators.

The successful candidate will:

  • Lead a team who prepare distinct sections of the daily 5G regulatory liquidity returns, ensuring that the full return is completed to a high standard on a daily basis.

  • Provide effective review and challenge for the team's work and act as the point of escalation for any issues encountered.

  • Analyse the report output, perform a high-level review of documentation for adjustments and identify potential discrepancies in the returns prior to submission.

  • Present the output of the report in review & sign-off meetings with Corporate Treasury and senior LFC stakeholders.

  • Support the preparation of timely, accurate responses to any queries or review comments from the regulator.

  • Develop a strong working relationship with key stakeholders across the business

  • Work closely with the projects team to integrate enhancements to the report production process as they are developed.

  • Produce regular performance reporting and key metrics to demonstrate compliance with our targets and to identify potential areas of inefficiency/risk.

Skills required:

The successful candidate will have experience of leading a high-performing team and of delivering high-quality, accurate external reporting. The ability to analyse and interpret data to draw a meaningful conclusion is essential.

The candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Have a track record of leading a team delivering high-profile regulatory reporting

  • Be able to demonstrate strong risk awareness through proven examples and have an understanding of liquidity risk

  • Be an analytical thinker with meticulous work style and ability to troubleshoot and solve problems

  • Have willingness to take initiative to develop and improve processes

  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office (strong Excel skills essential), with Business Objects experience desirable

  • Be adept at working in a fast-paced, high-energy level environment

  • Have strong communication skills, especially in addressing technical and quantitative issues

  • Be a CCAB-qualified accountant
