Principal Electrical Engineer
A Principal Electrical Engineer is required to work on a six month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our Defence client based in Portsmouth
This is a 6 month contract with a leading UK defence client.
Overview of the Principal Electrical Engineer contract role
The Principal Electrical Engineer is a key role in the Fleet Services Systems Engineering team responsible for providing electrical engineering capability across a broad set of challenges to meet the needs of Fleet Services internal projects.
Key skills required for the Principal Electrical Engineer
- Qualified to Degree level, or higher in an engineering or closely related discipline
- HV trained to competent person level
- Experience in marine engineering including working on military platforms and systems
- Have a strong awareness of Product Safety and SHE
The role is based in Portsmouth, Hampshire - commutable from Southampton, Cowes, Isle of Wight, Salisbury, Winchester, Andover, Basingstoke, Guildford, Aldershot, Crawley, Horsham, Brighton, Worthing, Chichester
