Description
Strong SAP/Ariba Project Management experience
Must have a strong Ariba background OR successfully Project Managed an Ariba/SAP implementation locally in Macau or Hong Kong.
Ability to effectively manage a team of 6-10 SAP Ariba consultants and work with a customer project team of 30 +.
Manage the implementation of a highly integrated Ariba cloud solution.
Responsibilities
Define and clarify project scope
Develop the project plan
Develop the project schedule
Develop policies and procedures to support the achievement of the project objectives
Progress - deliverables are being completed within the base lined time scales
Cost - deliverables are being completed within the base lined cost plan
Quality - deliverables are being completed to defined expectations, first time
Performance (Value) - progress is being earned for the expected cost
Regulatory - all required statutory and regulatory conditions are being met
Reporting - regular and timely reporting of project progress to the sponsors
Risk - to proactively manage foreseen project risk, mitigating as necessary
Change - managing changes to the project without unduly affecting the stated objectives and benefits
Preferred Qualifications
5 - 10+ years in implementing/managing large procurement transformation projects, ideally with Ariba cloud technologies
Ability to manage complex projects to tight timelines - responds under pressures of time and uncertainty
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to earn trust and respect from internal stakeholders and partners
Outstanding presentation/communication skills
Superb analytical abilities
Demonstrated ability to take initiative, lead by example, and achieve extraordinary results
Strong knowledge of project and process management
Business process consulting experience
Ideally Project management certified
Strong product or deployment experience in procurement implementation
