Service Transition Manager
A Service Transition Manager with ITIL certification and Stakeholder Management experience is required to work on a nine month contract with the possibility of extension for our Engineering client based in Preston.
This is a 6 month contract with a leading UK Defence Business.
Overview of the Service Transition Manager Contract role
An opportunity has arisen for a Service Transition Manager to join the Enterprise IT Services team in Preston. Reporting to the Head Service Transition, the successful candidate will ensure that all services transitioning into operational support are managed through operational readiness review processes to ensure that they are fit to be supported. You will monitor existing service and review in line with best practice benchmarks, customer needs and Service Operations objectives.
Key skills required for the Service Transition Manager
- Extensive knowledge of IT Industry from Enterprise perspective.
- Service Transition Management experience.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Confident communication & stakeholder management skills.
- Experience of Transition in public sector would be advantageous.
- Commercial/finance/governance understanding.
- ITIL certification.
The role is based in Preston, Lancashire - commutable from Blackpool, Lancaster, Morecambe, Chorley, Leyland, Blackburn, Darwen, Burnley, Skipton, Stockport, Manchester, Warrington, Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale and Oldham with excellent access from Liverpool and Leeds
