Description
A leading EPC engineering company requires a senior document controller with current SC clearance to be based in Cumbria.Responsibilities:
Fully conversant with Microsoft Office.
Experience in Document Control preferred.
The ability to work unsupervised but adhere strictly to the laid down processes.
The ability to deal with personnel at all levels of the Project from Senior Management to shop floor workers.
Strong willed person who cannot be cajoled into breaking from procedure.
The ability to react to urgent needs of the Project.
Experience of the nuclear and construction industries preferred.
Knowledge of CEMAR and 4 Projects preferred but not essential
Qualifications:
Fully conversant with Microsoft Office.
Experience in Document Control (ideally on a large Construction Project or similar).
The ability to work unsupervised but adhere strictly to the laid down processes.
The ability to deal with personnel at all levels of the Project from Senior Management to shop floor workers.
The ability to solve both short-term and long-term document control related issues.
Able to discuss technical aspects of documentation across functions where necessary.
Some experience in internal auditing in order to monitor the effectiveness of document control processes.
Strong willed person who cannot be cajoled into breaking from procedure.
The ability to react to urgent needs of the Project.
Experience of the nuclear and construction industries preferred.
Knowledge of contractual processes and in particular those relating to NEC3 ECC.
Knowledge of CEMAR and 4 Projects preferred but not essential
