Maintenance Coordinator

Days (9-5)
£12-15p/h PAYE (with flexibility for Ltd/Umbrella)
Location: North West
As the primary interface for all maintenance activity you will assist the engineering team in the provision of technical support across the business. This will involve coordinating planned and preventative maintenance including all systems and procedures whilst scheduling external support for plant, facilities and building maintenance. You will manage the contractor health & safety administration, risk assessments and work permits as well as all relevant contract and commercial documentation.
You will maintain all statutory record keeping within this highly regulated environment, primarily in terms of maintenance but also stores and inventory, safety legislative requirements and all relevant site based KPI's for reporting.
Candidate
Ideally apprentice trained you will have experience within maintenance planning, coordination or engineering administration. You will be a diligent, detail focused individual able to effectively manage resources, documentation and ensure an effective provision of service for the business requirements.
Ideally you will have operated within a regulated manufacturing environment and have experience in the completion of risk assessments and method statements and working with and managing external contractors.
In return you will be afforded significant responsibility supporting engineering activities for a global manufacturer.
