VAS Manager

We are currently recruiting for an VAS Manager to join their business in DR Congo.

Position Title: VAS Manager

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for working closely with the Project Managers on Solutions scoping, customizations and realizations of the project
- Take a lead technical role in the deployment and successful integration of VAS products (such as IN, SMSC, MMSC, Mobile Internet, Voicemail) into customer network environments
- Lead technical upgrades and expansions of VAS products within a customer production environment
- Written, and executed customer acceptance dates
- Leading troubleshooting issues during the integration of VAS deployments, interfacing with multi vendors such IN, Core Network, Billing and other third parties, encompassing: SS7 and IP provision.
- Following VAS protocols including as SMPP, SNMP, SS7, M3UA and Sigtran

Qualifications:
- Bachelor Computer Science, Engineering or Telecommunications
- Minimum of 5+ years of Value Added Services experience
- In depth knowledge of AIX system administration, user creation, file/directory permissions, LVM, loading of software and system patches , TCP/IP concepts, NFS, NIS, DNS, storage concepts, performance tuning, write and debug shell scripts.
- Technical and leadership skills
- Fluent French and English speaker
