Global Renewable Energy client is looking for a Yard Project Manager (Jackets Fabrication) for their offshore wind farm project.
Our client is looking for the Yard Project Manager to start this 34 month freelance contract from the 25th April 2016 up until approximately 28th February 2019 with the possibility that it will extend further. The hours to be worked will be 5 days per week, 10hrs a day in average.
Responsibilities:
- To establish, lead and manage effective project organisation and functioning project team, you will be required to secure necessary resources and competencies
- Manage project time, cost budgets, quality, risks, interfaces, stakeholders and documentation as well as other PMI competence areas
- Fabrication and surveillance contracts, claims, variation orders, negotiation and securing execution of contractual obligations
- Enforce and ensure compliance with the client energy and wind power processes, policies systems and procedures and safety philosophy
- Enforce, introduce and maintain high safety awareness culture. Enhance HSE in planning and execution of scope
- Encourage and facilitate interdisciplinary co-operation, driving knowledge sharing with other asset projects through implementation of and capturing relevant Lesson Learnt
- Manage HSE risks within their scope and to give input to Safety Up catalogue
- Close down project which will include finalising CAPEX account and handover the asset to operations
- MSc, BSc or other relevant Master degree. Competence equivalent to IPMA level A/B and/or PMI PMP
- 5 - 10 years. relevant project experience in a Matrix organisation within wind, oil & gas industry, civil structures and/or large construction
- Strong negotiation, communication and leadership skills as well as commercial understanding and awareness
