Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Compliance Engineer to join our busy Hardware Engineering team. You will be responsible for the creation and updating of the Technical construction Files for the Project. This will include EMC, LVD, RoHS and Machinery Directives and as such you will be able to demonstrate experience in the testing, assessment and documentation of electronic equipment to CE mark the equipment.

Responsibilities
- Carrying out EMC, LVD and other testing as required to obtain CE marking of electronic equipment.
- Assessment and creation of TCFs for electronic equipment to obtain CE marking.
- Providing technical assistance to all areas of the business on specific issues relating to compliance.
Qualifications
Essential:
- HND or Degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or Computing
Desirable:
- MIET, CEng
Experience
Essential:
- 5+ years' experience working in an Electronic Manufacturing role
- CE marking of electronic equipment.
- EMC and LVD testing of electronic equipment.
- Preparation of test specifications.
- Assessing electronic equipment for compliance with EMC, LVD, RoHS and Machinery Directives.
Desirable:
- CE marking of equipment for the Rail industry
- EN50121
- EN60950 including part 22.
- Experience with RS232, USB and Ethernet interfaces
- Experience with RFID
