Job Title: Finance Business Analyst, BANKING, BRUSSELS

BACKGROUND

The Business Analyst (BA) is the interface between Business stakeholders and the implementers of the solution.

He or She will play a key pivotal role in the delivery of the projects and in the delivery of quality service to both internal and external clients.

This role also focuses on the analysis of the needs of the end users (or regulatory needs) and the related communication between these users and the implementing teams.

ROLE:

The chosen candidate will produce and document detailed business requirements and have a good understanding of the needs of the business and regulatory driven requirements. Must be able to analyse the impact and the risks of changes to existing processes/systems and are able to make the business aware of their own interests and the implications of their decision or request.

Must be able to indentify, describe and validate business solutions to meet end users requirements.

Having an strong awareness of the right trade-off between quality, cost and timeliness and to facilitate communication between the business and the implementers of the solution during the project delivery phase.

Also to be involved in the testing of the designed solution by:
-defining the scope of the testing
-developing the business test scenarios and review test cases prepared by the implementers
-providing support to the end-users during the User Acceptance Test (UAT), and also test if appropriate.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Strong analytical skills and a healthy critical mind set
- Good interpersonal skills: you can work in close collaboration with other parties involved in the project and build constructive relationships with all stakeholders
- You are comfortable to organize/lead meetings with Senior people across the organisation
- Excellent communication skills: present information clearly and concisely (writing skills), keep people informed about projects status and issues, share knowledge and expertise with others
- Autonomous and organized; you can easily adapt in case unexpected change of priority in your short-term planning.
- Proficient in both written and oral English.
- Familiar with finance processes (with a minimum of 3 years experience), preferably on core accounting, budgeting & forecasting, costing & profitability.
- Background in Costing & Profitability or Performance Management within a Banking environment is a strong asset.
- Experience on project management is a strong asset.

Duration: 6-12 months

Salary: Euros/Day negotiable
