Description

A vacancy exists for a permanent Qualified Person (QP) in the Quality Process Stream Department with a pharmaceutical company based in Dublin.

The role:

Reporting directly to the Quality Process Stream Head of Department, the successful candidate will be responsible for a range of QP activities including product release, proactive driving of quality improvements and LEAN initiatives, quality performance reporting, APQRs, stability/complaint and other investigations and project support. The successful candidate will be included as an approved QP on the Company's Manufacturing Licences.

Requirements:

Applicants are required to hold a minimum of a third level Science (e.g., Chemistry or Microbiology) or equivalent degree qualification, along with the Postgraduate Diploma in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technology and at least two years' experience in a Production or Quality function within the Pharmaceutical Industry. Alternatively applicants should possess a minimum of a Pharmacy Degree with at least two year's operational experience in a pharmaceutical production or quality role. Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and general pharmaceutical control systems including qualification/validation, process change control and regulatory affairs is desirable. Knowledge of medical device legislation would be of interest.
