Consulting Principal - Vendor Compliance

My client, a global software and services company are looking for a Vendor Compliance Consultant for an initial 12 month contract based in Dublin.

Role Overview:
*The Prime SI Vendor Compliance Management Team is a tasked to ensure contractual compliance of all impacted vendors, both as a Managing Agent and for Direct Sub-contractors.
*To implement governance procedures & tools to ensure vendor contractual adherence
*To identify, assess, escalate, monitor, control and report on contractual risks and issues
*To facilitate the resolution of contractual risks and issues
Responsibilities include:
Assist with Direct 3PV SoW Creation
Maintain relationship with Client Vendor Manager & each Key Vendor
Identification of Key Vendors (~10-15) along with POCs and non-Key Vendors (~35-40)
Works with Client POC to capture Vendor Cooperation Agreements for Key Vendors
Conduct Contract De-Briefing Session to define Success Criteria and identify RAID items
Driving Critical/High Priority Risks & Issues to closure
Conduct Critical/High Priority Risks & Issues Due Diligence prior to Escalation
Facilitating the mediating of Contractual Disputes
Facilitating the negotiation of Contractual Key Issues and Risks Resolution
Handle 3PV Failure Notices
Review and Approval of Weekly Dashboard

Requirements:

*5+ years of in telecom industry, ideally within OSS/BSS arena
*Ability to provide knowledge transfer and thought leadership
*Ability to translate complex technical issues into compelling business benefits
*Previous experience with Systems Integration
*Problem solving and planning skills
*Exceptional verbal and formal non-verbal communications
*Ability to engage effectively with different levels of management
*Solid understanding of negotiation and mediation theory, strategies and practices
*Experienced with SI and Software vendors in terms of deliverables from a contractual perspective
*experienced in large IT software and hardware implementations
*Ability to prioritize time and activities on most problematic vendors
*Strong Management skills with the ability to plan, execute and report to vendor compliance
*Experienced in measuring performance SLAs
*Ability to assess the relevance/timing of invoking contractual terms
*Spirited team player with the ability to work as a positive role model and catalyst for change
*Ability to foster and motivate cross vendor team engagement when facilitating issue mediation & resolution
*Preference is for a strong legal background
