Our banking client in Dublin is looking for a Finance Lead. As a Finance Leader, your work, whether it's modelling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our business leaders to make strategic company decisions. A master juggler working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to tackle big picture challenges.
Key Requirements
In this role, you will provide decision support to the team which mission is to reimagine the future of commerce by using technology and data-driven insights to deliver solutions that empower and transform how people live.
The role exists to:
- Coordinate and develop quantitative forecasts to support critical financial planning processes such as business growth forecasting, business target setting and performance evaluations.
- Engage with the teams to understand and influence drivers of performance. Advise management with regards to customer deal profitability and product investment through business case preparation, analysis and tracking.
- Provide management with clear insights and recommendations into drivers of business growth, market trends, risks, and opportunities leading to enhancing business and product actions.
- Engage in ad hoc analyses to understand business performance, and provide concise summaries and recommendations to management.
Key requirements:
- BA/BS degree in a quantitative field of study or equivalent practical experience.
- Professional accounting qualification.
- Extensive knowledge of spreadsheet and presentation software. Knowledge of Hyperion planning is an asset.
- Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills.
- Proven experience in finance supporting business development, planning and analysis
- Impeccable business judgment, leadership skills, and the ability to communicate with a senior management team.
